Salvaging Rune'd Armor
Well i've been hearing different things now. I heard that if u salvage ur own armor with a rune in it, u can get the rune out, but the armor is destroyed? Ok, but i also heard there is a chance not to get the rune.
Can someone tell me which is true? Because i have a 55 build monk with sup runes, and want a new set of armor, can someone tell me if i will get my runes 100% sure if i salvage my armor with sup runes in it? Thanks |

If you use a normal Salvage Kit you will only get crafting materials.
If you use an Expert (or Superior) Salvage kit on your own armor you have a chance of salvaging the Rune. You will either get the rune or crafting material. Salvaging your armor either with normal kit or Expert/Superior kit will destroy that piece of armor. It will give you either the rune or crafting materials in place of the armor. I don't know what the % chance of getting the rune from your own armor, sorry. |
